As UCLA’s campus settles into the quiet of night, the Graveyard Electrical Team springs into action, ensuring the university’s electrical systems run smoothly and reliably. Led by Garry Fisher, this dedicated crew works tirelessly from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, tackling critical tasks that keep the campus energized and safe. From routine lamp replacements to complex switchgear upgrades, their efforts focus on supporting Deferred Maintenance projects while minimizing disruptions to daytime campus life.

Whether maintaining high-traffic areas or responding swiftly to after-hours emergencies, they collaborate seamlessly with contractors to ensure uninterrupted power and enhanced campus safety. Their overnight work allows UCLA to operate smoothly during the day, providing a seamless experience for students, faculty, and staff.
