In July of 2023, Project Manager Roland Amrhein partnered with FM Sheetmetal Shop with a goal to reinforce the security of the Geffen Academy fence. The objective was to add two feed to the approximately 900 feet of fence which borders the school perimeter.
The yearlong project involved scheduling challenges due to weather and material procurement. Nonetheless, after twelve months, building administration and parents appreciate the new visual dimension to the school. The addition not only enhanced overall security and privacy but also complemented the current fence and shrubbery. Filiberto Perez Sheetmetal Shop Lead led a team that included Certified Welder Juan Cordero and Facilities worker Alfredo Mendoza to take this project to completion.
