Our Grounds Staff are highly skilled in the Landscape Discipline, with decades' worth of work experience in Landscape Construction and Maintenance. We have licensed Landscape Architects, Pest Control Advisors, Certified Horticulturalists, Irrigation Water Auditors, highly skilled Arborists, Turf Specialists, and Project Managers. In addition, Grounds Maintenance offers a wide range of first-rate, non-state funded services to the University for a nominal fee.

UCLA irrigates all campus grounds by the use of industrial science, saving millions of gallons of water annually.
Pest Management
We implement a sensitive & eco-friendly pest management program, keeping the exposure to and the usage of pesticides to a minimum.
Grounds Conservation & Preservation
UCLA makes it a priority to lead by example, from using endemic plants for self-sustainability to recycling our own green waste.
Bollard Controls
Bollards and traffic cones are used to ensure UCLA is a pedestrian friendly zone.
UCLA Gardens & Parks
Despite the density of our urban campus, UCLA offers unique and park-like settings throughout our grounds.
